BRAMPTON, ON — A major new development proposal could reshape Brampton’s northwest, with plans unveiled for a 13-tower mixed-use community rising to 44 storeys near a future GO Transit hub.
According to reports, developer Cortel Group, operating as MCN Heritage, has submitted plans for a large-scale, transit-focused project located roughly 500 metres from the planned Heritage Heights GO Station on the Kitchener Line.
The proposed community, known as Heritage Heights, has been designed by Architecture Unfolded and would feature 13 residential towers strategically placed near Mississauga Road and Bovaird Drive West. With heights reaching up to 44 storeys, the project stands out as one of the most significant high-density developments planned for the area.
Set within a designated Major Transit Station Area, the development aims to create a vibrant, mixed-use neighbourhood centred around transit access, supporting broader regional goals to concentrate growth near key transportation hubs.
If approved, the project could mark a major step in Brampton’s ongoing urban expansion, bringing more housing, improved accessibility, and enhanced infrastructure to the rapidly growing community.
