Peel District schools with reported cases of COVID-19

In an effort to keep students and parents abreast of the situation, the Peel District School Board’s COVID-19 Advisory Board is tracking the number of active confirmed positive COVID-19 cases at PDSB schools in Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon.

For all confirmed cases, families and staff at the school are notified by letter, and Peel Public Health contacts any close contacts directly.

The PDSB notes that a positive case at a school does not necessarily mean the individual was exposed to COVID-19 at the school — they may have been exposed elsewhere in the community.

These are the schools/institutions with at least one active reported case of COVID-19:

Canada reports no new deaths from coronavirus for the first time since March

  • Briarwood Public School – 1 confirmed case, 0 closed classrooms (school open)
  • John Fraser Secondary School – 1 confirmed case, 0 closed classrooms (school open)
  • Louise Arbour Secondary School – 1 confirmed case, 0 closed classrooms (school open)
  • North Field Office – 1 confirmed case, 0 closed classrooms (school open)
  • Ross Drive Public School – 1 confirmed case, 0 closed classrooms (school open)
  • Ruth Thompson Middle School – 1 confirmed case, 0 closed classrooms (school open)

More updates are expected as the school year proceeds.
