BRAMPTON, ON — A man is fighting for his life after a serious rollover crash in Brampton early Wednesday morning.
According to Peel Regional Police, emergency crews were called to the area of Clark Boulevard and West Drive, near Dixie Road, shortly after 1:30 a.m. after reports of a single-vehicle collision.
Police say the vehicle flipped onto its roof, trapping the driver inside. The man, believed to be in his 40s, was extricated from the wreckage and rushed to a trauma centre in critical condition.
Investigators confirmed no other vehicles were involved in the crash, and the cause remains under investigation.
Clark Boulevard was closed between Highway 410 and West Drive as collision reconstruction officers examined the scene. Drivers were urged to avoid the area and take alternate routes while police continued their investigation.
