Google officially announced the Pixel 4 series, after getting the title of “The most-leaked phone” at the event in New York City. The new Pixel phone that is running on Android 10 packed with ‘Motion Sense’, ‘Face Unlock’, Dual Rear Camera setup with an iPhone 11 look like an array of the lens in a square.
Apart from hardware specifications, Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL comes with 5.7” & 6.3” resp. FHD+ 90Hz refresh rate display. Pixel is powered by Snapdragon’s 855 64bit Octa-Core processor with a battery of 2800 mAh& 3700 mAh resp. that supports 18W fast charging using Type C port and wireless charging as well.
The aluminum frame packed phone is protected by IP68 dust and water protection along with Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 on the front and back.
The phone launched in 3 colors: Oh So Orange, Just Black, Clearly White.
Above the screen, there are no sensors that supports face unlock feature and Motion Sense. Motion Sense allows the phone to be controlled with hand gestures as demonstrated. You can control music or use this feature during incoming calls.
Talking about the camera, Google improved and get new features in it. The front camera is of 8MP with an aperture of ƒ/2.0 with a pixel size of 1.22 μm. Rear camera section contains 2 lenses of 16MP and 12.2MP with an aperture of ƒ/2.4 and ƒ/1.7 resp. Using the rear camera you can record videos of 4K quality at 30 FPS and 1080p at 30 FPS using the front camera.
Pixel supports Bluetooth 5.0, Google cast, Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz, Single nano SIM &eSIM.
