Alright, here’s what went down in Brampton overnight.

Peel Regional Police are investigating after a series of suspicious fires hit multiple locations late Tuesday night. In just about half an hour, four tow trucks were damaged across three different areas — yeah, pretty unusual stuff.

The first report reached police just after 1:10 in the morning near Eagle Plains Drive and Airport Road. Officers arrived to find two tow trucks and another vehicle up in flames.

Then, around 1:30 a.m., another fire was reported near Dwellers Road and Fletcher’s Creek Boulevard. And just seven minutes later, yet another blaze broke out near Worthington Avenue and Bovaird Drive.

Police say it appears the fires may have been targeted, but they’re still keeping an open mind about whether the incidents are connected. Investigators also noted the trucks belonged to different companies.

Thankfully, no one was injured, and there’s no suspect description at this time.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
