In the recent English language debate took place on 7 Oct at Canadian Museum of History which was part of Canadian elections to be held on 21 Oct. On stage Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau, Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer, New Democratic Leader Jagmeet Singh, Green Party leader Elizabeth May, People’s Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier and Bloc Quebecois Leader Yves-Francois Blanchet were present.
In the debate, Trudeau was the focal point for the opposition leaders. Mainly, Conservative party leader Andrew Scheer attacked Justin Trudeau many times. In the first 30 seconds, Scheer’s first concern was that Justin breaks ethics laws twice in current tenure. In reply, Justin was trying to pretend to himself by talking about that he is standing up for public interests and improved tax deductions plan implementations.
The debate was focused on issues such as indigenous issues, polarization, human rights, and immigration, but in the first segment of debate when Andrew got the opportunity to respond then brought the biggest controversy Trudeau’s Blackface into mainline and use strict words by attacking Justin.
He said, “Mr. Trudeau, you are a Phony and you are a Fraud, you do not deserve to run this country.”
Trudeau also attacked his opposition many times by talking about costly plans that Scheer has not released yet. But in this situation, Mr. Trudeau managed the whole ground. Not only this, he faced many other attacks by the opposition. Trudeau performed well to defend himself.
Not only Trudeau facing allegations, but Andrew also faced rough weeks when he was questioned about Dual Canadian-US citizenship that can lead to negative results in upcoming elections.
