Brampton residents can now take their local library wherever they go, thanks to a newly upgraded Brampton Library mobile app. The refreshed app makes it easier for cardholders to borrow books, place holds, track due dates, and manage accounts—all from their phones.
Designed for convenience, the app lets users scan books from anywhere to check availability at nearby branches. Library members can also access their digital library card directly on their smartphone and add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for quick and easy use.
Families with multiple library cards can manage several accounts in one place, simplifying renewals, holds, and loan tracking. The app also opens the door to Brampton Library’s digital collection, including e-books, audiobooks, e-newspapers, magazines, streaming movies and TV, and online learning programs.
A built-in self-checkout feature allows members to borrow physical items right inside library branches, cutting down on wait times. Existing users will need to reinstall the app to unlock all the new features.
