A driving school operating in Brampton and Guelph has had its licence taken away by Ontario’s Ministry of Transportation (MTO). Peel Driving School, located on North Park Drive in Brampton, can no longer operate after the MTO revoked its licence in what has been described as a permanent decision.
The government says it has zero tolerance for unsafe practices on Ontario roads and continues to closely monitor driving schools across the province.
Peel Driving School’s website claims it offers professional driving lessons across the GTA for students of all ages and experience levels. It also operates Peel Truck Driving School, though it’s unclear if that business is affected.
A staff member who answered the phone said the school is waiting for more details from the MTO before deciding what steps to take next.
