LiUNA’s Pension Fund has teamed up with Fengate Asset Management to officially kick off construction on Church & Main, a striking 35-storey rental tower that’s set to become a major new landmark in the heart of downtown Brampton. The transit-focused project will add 400 new rental homes near the Brampton Innovation District GO station.

Situated at the corner of Church and Main streets, the tower will feature a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites tailored for new Canadians, students, young professionals, and families alike.

The project is being brought to life through a collaborative partnership between LPFCEC, Fengate, and The Hi-Rise Group, combining their expertise to deliver this major downtown development.

Local leaders and project partners attended the groundbreaking, calling the project a key step in tackling Brampton’s growing housing needs. With the city expected to keep growing quickly, demand for rental housing remains strong.

This marks the second rental project by LPFCEC and Fengate in Brampton, following Manett Urban, which is already nearly fully leased. The new tower will feature modern amenities and is targeting LEED Gold certification, with the first residents expected to move in by 2029.
