Halton Regional Police say a 29-year-old man from Brampton is now facing serious charges following a targeted daytime shooting in Oakville earlier this week.

According to investigators, the incident happened around 12:05 p.m. on Friday, March 27, along Progress Court near South Service Road. Police allege the suspect, travelling in a vehicle, fired multiple shots at another vehicle behind him in broad daylight.

Thankfully, no one was injured, but the suspect fled the scene eastbound toward Fourth Line.

After what police describe as an extensive investigation, officers arrested Justin Tasevski, who now faces multiple charges, including attempted murder and firearm-related offences.

He remains in custody after a court appearance on March 29 and is scheduled to appear in Milton on April 1.

Police believe this was an isolated, targeted incident and are not searching for any additional suspects. The weapon used in the shooting remains unaccounted for.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or has information to come forward and contact the Major Crime Bureau.
