Goaltender Mike McIvor made an impressive return to the crease, stopping all 23 shots he faced to record a shutout in his first game back since January. Despite limited action at times, McIvor stayed sharp, making key saves when needed and showing strong composure throughout the game.
Head coach Ryan Oulahen praised his team’s effort, highlighting their discipline and focus. He noted that the team “played smart and stayed on their toes,” while also acknowledging a few breakaway chances that McIvor effectively handled.
Offensively, North Bay took control early and never let up, building a commanding 5-0 lead by the end of the second period. Ryder Cali led the way with two goals, extending his point streak to seven games and continuing his standout season. Contributions across the lineup helped seal the one-sided win.
