A section of Queen Street West in Brampton will be temporarily shut down next week as crews work on a major water main upgrade.
Peel Region has been installing a new water main along Queen Street and now needs to close the stretch between West Street and Haggert Avenue North to finish the paving work.

The closure will run from Nov. 18 at 7 a.m. to Nov. 20 at 7 p.m.
Officials say drivers don’t need to worry—detour signs will be clearly posted to guide traffic around the area.
Peel Region says this upgrade is essential to maintaining and improving the region’s top-tier water system, ensuring residents continue to receive safe, reliable drinking water.
