Ontario is raising a glass to a major win for Brampton as Coca-Cola Canada Bottling commits $141 million to expand and modernize its flagship facility in the city. The upgrade will add a cutting-edge production line capable of producing 20 million more cases annually, while creating up to 500 well-paying construction jobs and strengthening Ontario’s agri-food and beverage sector.
The project is being built by Canadian trades, with at least 75% of the materials sourced locally, making it one of the most advanced beverage production lines in the country. Premier Doug Ford called the investment a strong vote of confidence in Ontario workers and the province’s business climate.
For Brampton, the expansion builds on a long-standing relationship. Coke Canada Bottling has invested more than $230 million locally over the past seven years and now employs over 1,300 people, serving thousands of customers across the GTA and eastern Canada.
Company leaders say the expansion will boost flexibility, speed innovation, and help deliver the beverages Canadians love—while keeping jobs, investment, and growth right here in Ontario.
