Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) announced it would authorize marijuana stores in Ontario to provide services delivery and curbside pick-up.
Official stores will be allowed to sell, deliver, and offer curbside pick-up of cannabis and cannabis-related products seven days a week 09: 00-11: 00
Customers will still be limited to 30 grams of dried marijuana, or (or equivalent) per transaction.
In addition, all those involved in the sale and delivery of cannabis products should CannSell certified.
Furthermore, only a licensed retailer or an employee can submit an order of marijuana in the name of the store.
“We have worked closely with the Government of Ontario on how to support marijuana retail store operators and consumers recreational marijuana laws since the shops were ordered to close following an order of the province declared a state of emergency,” Jean Major, Registrar, and CEO of the AGCO, said in a news release.
“This new measure helps address consumer demand and maintain a revenue stream for operators while store supports wider government objectives,” he continued.
