Another Tow Truck Torched in Brampton as Arson Cases Continue

BRAMPTON, ON — Another tow truck has been destroyed in a suspicious overnight fire in Brampton, as Peel police continue investigating a growing series of arson incidents tied to the towing industry.

According to Peel Regional Police, emergency crews responded to the latest blaze early Sunday morning near Rutherford Road South and Orenda Road. Investigators believe the fire was deliberately set sometime between 2:45 a.m. and 4:45 a.m.

No injuries were reported, but the incident has raised fresh concerns as it happened in the same area where multiple tow trucks and vehicles were previously torched earlier this year.

Police say there is currently no suspect information available, and the investigation remains ongoing.

The latest fire adds to a troubling pattern of tow truck-related arsons across Brampton, with investigators continuing to examine possible connections between the incidents.

🇨🇦 Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward as efforts continue to identify those responsible.
