Man Critically Hurt in Brampton Stabbing; Suspect Still at Large

BRAMPTON, ON — Police are looking for a suspect after a stabbing in Brampton sent a man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Saturday afternoon.

According to Peel Regional Police, officers were called to a residence near McLaughlin Road South and Oakley Boulevard shortly after 4 p.m. following reports of a dispute between two individuals.

A man in his 30s was taken to the hospital, where his condition was later stabilized. Police say the other man involved left the scene and has not yet been located.

Investigators say the incident appears to be targeted, adding there is no ongoing risk to the public. The two men are believed to know each other, and no suspect description has been released so far.

Police continue to investigate and are urging anyone with information to contact authorities as the search in Brampton continues.
