The countdown to 2019 is on…and Brampton has a heavy schedule on New Year’s Eve.
On December 31st, some performances from some talented musicians and artists have been lined up for Brampton’s NYE celebrations. Here’s the full schedule:
Brampton City Hall New Year’s Eve Celebrations:
6:30 – 8:30 pm – Dance Party in the Conservatory
6:30 – 9:00 pm – Family Activities in the Atrium
Garden Square Performances
8 pm – DJ Tam
8:30 pm – Melle Rose
9 pm – Fireworks Display
9:10 pm – Raz
9:50 pm – Julian Taylor Band
11:05 pm – Shawn Hook
12 am – Fireworks Display
Yes, Brampton. That is local hip-hop artist Raz and Canadian Juno award nominated artist Shawn Hook as the headliner.

Families are encouraged to catch the early fireworks show at 9 pm at Garden Square when the party at City Hall wraps up.
Ahead of the concert, everyone is encouraged to visit Gage Park to view the thousands of sparkling winter lights and skate on the trail, and skating will be free at Gage Park all day long.
Brampton Transit is offering free bus rides starting at 7 pm.
