Brampton and the surrounding region has been hammered with crazy snow storms and ice like breeze chills of late, yet the end is in sight.

The Brampton area had a major snowstorm this week with an astounding 25 cm snowfall falling. What’s more, temperatures have been feeling like – 40.

But finally, mother nature is sending a truly necessary respite as generally occasional temperatures, and following quite a while of extraordinary cold weather alerts, it’s a huge relief.

Heavy snow and bitter cold in Environment Canada’s forecast for Ontario

However, things are looking into Saturday with temperatures expected to rise to 0 and feel like – 3, which is soothing after the unbearable cold snap. That’s practically a 40-degree weather change.

Sunday it’s expected to be rainy, and 3 degrees so hope a whole lot of slush and wet snow banks. Going into one week from now, it should be 8 degrees Celcius on Monday, which is for all intents and purposes flip-flops weather in Southern Ontario and way more comfortable than recent temperatures.
