Massive Food Festival

One of Brampton’s biggest culinary events of the year is back, and this year it’s expanding.

A Taste of Brampton (Formerly Taste of Downtown Brampton) is expanding to offer prix-fixe menus, sample platters, and discounts from restaurants across the city.

This year the festival runs from October 15 to 29 and will feature some of the best restaurants not just in the downtown area, but from across Brampton. Check out the participating restaurants and their menus below.

Sample Plates
Carve on Lot 5 – A casual restaurant with an upscale feel cooking from scratch using the finest and freshest organic, hormone and antibiotic free ingredients when possible. For the festival, they are offering share plates with vegetarian, meat and seafood options all at a price point between $20 to $25.

Fanzorelli’s Restaurant & Wine Bar – At Fanzorelli’s, fresh, locally sourced ingredients are used to create modern Italian dishes and capture the boldness and simplicity of fresh seasonal flavours. Their menus take you on a tour of Italy with a range of regional dishes.

Prix-Fixe Menus
Aria Bistro & Lounge– Located in the historic home of Walter E. Calvert on Main Street, Aria offers a diverse menu showcasing the freshest ingredients in an elegant and inviting atmosphere.

Bucatini Restaurant & Wine Bar– Bucatini offers a truly authentic Italian dining experience. At Bucatini, they only use the finest ingredients to highlight the exquisite flavours of each dish. Bucatini is offering two lunch options and two dinner options in the price range of $20 to $50 per person.

Queen Gypsy – QG features Eastern European fare made from recipes passed down through generations. For the festival they’re offering a three-course prix-fixe menu at $35. It includes a starter, three entrée options and dessert.

Joey’s Deli– Whether it’s breakfast lunch or dinner you crave, Joey’s wide range of menu offerings, from omelets to deli sandwiches, will satisfy you. For the festival, they are offering a $24 dinner option.

MacaronZ – MacaronZ is the very first authentic French Macaron Boutique and High Tea Salon in Brampton. Their French-inspired pastries will satisfy any sweet tooth. During the festival enjoy high tea at $22 per person or 6 macarons for $10.

Mirch Masala – Mirch serves up North Indian cuisine including Tandoori and Punjabi-style curries from the Amritsar and Patiala regions as well as offering north frontier dishes from Kashmir Valley.

NINE18 – Cozy and classy, this open concept restaurant is offering a $25 prix-fixe dinner menu that features some of their new stone oven pizzas.

Terrace On The Green– Classic decor and a country feel Terrace On The Green offers an inviting setting to enjoy some of their Italian-inspired fare.

That Italian Place– This restaurant’s Neapolitan wood fried pizza gets rave reviews, it was even featured on the Food Network’s You Gotta Eat Here. Don’t miss their $25 lunch and $45 dinner prix-fixe menus during the festival. View Menu.

Tracks Brew Pub – Tracks Brew Pub combines the past with the best of the current time. Located in a historic building, it combines delicious pub fare with a unique atmosphere.

Wendel Clark’s– Wendel Clark’s Classic Grill and Sports Lounge is for all sports and food fans who want to enjoy a game and be treated to cutting-edge food offerings and specialty drinks. For the festival, they are offering a $24.99 prix-fixe menu and a couple of other specials.

The Works Burger Bistro– With burger offerings of the traditional variety and the outlandish, The Works epic menu of a Canadian favourite has a little something for everyone. During Taste enjoy their prix-fixe menu at $20 per person.

Vesuvio’s Ristorante – From appetizing antipasti starters to delectable pasta, gourmet pizzas, and decadent desserts, Vesuvio’s has it all, including a stellar reputation in Brampton that stretches back to the 1960s.

Specials

Dolcezza Custom Cakes– Where unique, exquisite designs and mouth-watering flavours meet personal and detailed service. We offer a daily assortment of freshly baked muffins, cupcakes, cookies and more in store. Satisfy your sweet tooth with three different specials during the festival.

DasBrezelHaus– Brampton’s resident German pretzel shop makes handmade sweet and savoury pretzels and breads. For the festival try out their sausage wrapped pretzel and their chocolate dipped Phillies for just $6 and $12.

Epic Pita– Epic Pita is all about a healthy lifestyle. They have lots of menu options so you can make the pita that suits your palate. During the festival, they’re offering specials starting at $7.99.

Fresh Express– Fresh is Brampton’s first custom salad and snack bar, featuring a bounty of fresh ingredients to create your ultimate salad. Try them out during the festival with their $7.50 sandwich special.

Juice & Rocco’s– Brampton’s newest pizza joint offering 12″ personal pizzas in a bunch of unique ways — donair and mac & cheese pizzas are just a few. Try out their Sicilian pizza during the festival for just $12.

Segovia Coffee– Coffee connoisseurs, this one is for you. Segovia offers imported coffee from Nicaragua that’s delicately hand roasted in small batches to offer the best possible product. Try out their waffles and a coffee during the festival. for just $6.50.
