Grocery store employee in Brampton tests positive for COVID-19

A grocery store employee in Brampton recently tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Loblaw Companies’ website, which has been tracking cases of COVID-19 in their stores across the province, one employee from Fortinos located at 60 Quarry Edge Drive, in Brampton tested positive for the virus.

“Given the important role we play in our communities, we are prepared for all possible situations, including a positive test for COVID-19 in our stores,” said their website.

“In these cases, we work closely with public health and follow their guidance to ensure proper notification of close contacts and required cleaning and sanitization in our stores.”

The website reported this case on October 29 and states that the employee’s last day of work was October 22.
