Repeat Shooting: Gunfire Reported at Same Brampton Home from Recent Attack

A quiet Brampton neighbourhood has been shaken by gunfire for the second time in just a few weeks.

Neighbours say they woke up to the sound of shots early Wednesday morning at a home on Clifton Court, the same address where Peel Regional Police responded to a shooting on October 19 that left a man in his 30s with serious injuries.

Police confirmed that they received reports of gunfire just before 3 a.m. on Wednesday Officers arrived to find the scene secured but have not said whether this latest incident is connected to the earlier shooting.

“At this time, it’s unknown whether the incident was targeted,” police said in a statement. “Police believe the event was an isolated case and assure the public that there is no continuing threat to safety.”

Residents reported a heavy police presence following the incident, with some sharing photos and videos of officers canvassing the area.

Neighbours describe the home as a newer, upscale property with several luxury vehicles in the driveway. Some say police have been to the address before, and that it was raided last year — though those details have not been confirmed by authorities.

The investigation remains ongoing.
